How do I know if my LC-A+ is a Russian Lens model or a Chinese Lens model?

Be aware that the body of the Lomo LC-A+RL is made in China, just like the LC-A+. However, the LC-A+RL has the Russian-made lens that came from the original LOMO PLC factory in St. Petersburg, Russia.

In order to check it before you wreck it, just open the lens cover on your LC-A+ about halfway. If you have the LC-A+ RL, the top leaf of your lens cover will say “Lens Made in Russia.” If you have the LC-A+, your lens cover will say nothing, and look as black as that cocker spaniel right behind you.

Made you look!
