My Lomography Ringflash doesn't charge or fire. What do I do?

Firstly, make sure that you have four brand new AA batteries inserted correctly in the base of the Lomography Ringflash. Without these, your Ringflash has no power!

If your Ringflash charges up, but doesn’t fire when you click your camera’s shutter button, the hotshoe cable might be faulty. Please contact us to get a spare one.

If you don’t hear the Ringflash charge or fire, please contact us with your Lomography.com order ID number for an inspection of your product.

Also, don’t forget that your Lomography Ringflash has a slave function! It has a light sensor that triggers the Ringflash through the integrated flash of your camera. The flash will fire once another flash fires. The slave function sensor causes the Ringflash to sense the light burst from the other flash and follow.

This function works perfectly with the integrated flash of the Fisheye or mounted on the Hotshoe of your Lomo LC-A+.
